I was born and raised in Lowville, New York. I attended Roberts Wesleyan College where I obtained a B.S. degree in nursing in 1974. My first husband, Anthony Sarnicola was an American Baptist pastor, who served here in Hornell for a short time before passing away in 1998. I chose to stay here in Hornell after that, largely due to the tremendous love and support I received from the folks here at First Baptist Church. I have two wonderful adult daughters, Holly and Colleen Sarnicola. In 2007, I married Daniel Sweeney, and we both still attend First Baptist Church, where I have served as Financial Secretary for the past 12 years. My interests include reading, trivia, bowling and line dancing.
