Ash Wednesday pancake supper for the entire church family on Wednesday, February 14th at 5:00 pm followed by an interactive program for children and adults. This begins the 40 day period of Lent, our journey to the cross. A sign up sheet is on the post outside the Bronson Room.

Sunday, February 18th from 1:00- 3:00 pm at the Hornell Bowl. Lanes have been reserved for our church. $16.00 per person covers games, shoe rentals, pizza and soda. Sign-up sheet is on the post outside the Bronson Room. This is a great time to fellowship with your church family.

It’s Trivia Time again! The administrative team will be holding Team Trivia during coffee hour today.
Also, at the same time, we will be holding a farewell reception for Mark and Joyce Norfolk as they are moving to Pennsylvania to be near their daughter and son in law and soon to be born grandson. Mark and Joyce have been an integral part of First Baptist Church for many years and they will be greatly missed. Please plan to stay and wish them well. Next Sunday, January 28th will be the last day they will be serving at First Baptist. We pray God’s blessing on them.
The Annual Meeting of the members of First Baptist Church of Hornell will be held immediately following the morning worship service next Sunday, January 28th Copies of the annual report for 2023 are available in the foyer.
PRC of the Valleys Baby Bottle Fundraiser – January 13-February 10
The women of First Baptist Church invite you to join them in supporting the annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser for the PRC (Pregnancy Resource Center) of the Valleys. A large Baby (calf) Bottle is located on the table near the Bronson Room and is ready to collect your coins, paper money, checks, etc. through February 10th. Two (2) regular baby bottles are available if you want to collect money at home; then return the bottle to our church by February 10th. PRC of the Valleys is committed to helping before, during, and after pregnancy. They offer pregnancy tests, ultrasound referrals, options consulting free of charge! An office is located in Hornell
