Sunday, April 11, 2021 we held a Consecration Service for our Community Food Cupboard.

It is named in honor of Sue Van Der Linden.

To God be the glory!

Greatness Is In Service" is Pastor Cedric Cooper's message on Sunday, April 11th.  Scripture reference is Matthew 20:20-28.  Come and join in worship with us at 10:00 am.  Consecration of the new Community Cupboard will occur at the end of the service with a reception in the Bronson Room to follow.

The Community Cupboard is available for anyone who is hungry or needs a few extra food items.  If you are interested in donating food we ask that you donate non-perishable foods only, check expiration dates - no expired foods should be donated.  The cupboard is located near the Genesee Street entrance.

Today after service we sent one of our members off in true Baptist way: cake!
A few years ago John Tylor (aka Bud) came to our 20 somethings ministries, then shortly after that he became a member. Bud has established relationships with our youth, become a thriving member of our music team, as well as continuing his work with the re-model of our sanctuary. It has been put on his heart to join the Navy and while we are sad to see him go, it’s never really a goodbye.
Best of luck and may God continue to use you for His plan!
What a great start to the transformation of our Youth Group Room! We even had help from a little puppy named Wesley! Many thanks to our Youth Group leaders and all who came out to help.
